 Set
Characters, Operations, etc. that have the card to be Set-on stated on the top left corner of the card will be placed below the card to be Set-on. This action is called "Set". The Character, Operation that is used to Set on a card is known as a "Set card", while the target card will be known as the "card to be Set-on".

 Set Group
A card with cards Set onto it is known as a "Set Group." Cards without any cards Set on them are also known as "Set Groups." A Set Group will be treated as 1 card when Sorting out, Rerolling/Rolling, etc.

 Playing a Set Card
When playing a Set Card, you need to target the card thats in a Disposition Area to be Set on. If the Set card's effect of "coming out onto the Field" is resolved, Set the card on the Target card that was chosen when playing.
If the Target Card to be Set on leaves the Field or gets moved to other locations from the Disposition Area before the Set card's effect of "coming out onto the Field" is resolved, the Set card will have its target lost and will fail in resolving the effect.

 Rerolling/Rolling of a Set Group
When Rerolling/Rolling a card in a Set Group, Reroll/Roll the whole Set Group. If a card in a Set Group is Rerolled/Rolled by an effect, all cards in that Set Group are treated to be Rerolled/Rolled by that effect as well.

 Destruction/Abolishment/Moving of a Set Group
If the Unit of a Set Group takes Damage thats more than that Unit's Defense (including any and all Battle Modifications of the Set cards), all cards in the Set Group will be Destroyed. It is not possible to deal Damage to only some specific cards in a Set Group.
If the effect of Destruction/Abolishment/Moving, etc. affects a Set card, only that Set card will be affected.  The card that it was Set on will not be affected. However, if the card that was Set onto is the one affected, all cards in the Set Group will be affected by that same effect(s).
In the case where the Set Group moves to a Nation or Lost Card Pile and theres a need to choose the order in which they are placed, the Original Owner of the card(s) will choose the order.

Destruction and Abolish of Multiple Cards in a Set Group
A. Unit
B. Character
C. Operation(Unit)
If, in the above Set Group, A gets Destroyed, B and C will also be Destroyed; however, the Abolish effect that occurs as a result of Destruction will not happen seperately, instead only A will have this effect.
If the Abolish effect of A takes place, B and C will get Abolished as well, and will be recognised as being "Destroyed and Abolished". If the Destruction of A is negated, the B and C will also get their Destruction negated simultaneously.
However, in the case where B or C gets Destroyed by any other method (thats not the Destruction of A), B or/and C will have their own Abolish effect activated.

 Control of Set Cards
The Controller of the card that was Set-on gains Control of all cards in that Set Group.

 Set Conditions
Any Restrictions or Conditions of/on Set cards will only apply at the time of Setting the card. After setting, even if the Status of the card that it was Set on has changed, any restrictions such as "cannot be Set on ~" will not take effect.
However, if the card that was Set-on has its Card Type changed, and the Set card's condition is not fulfilled, the Set will become invalid and the Set card will be Abolished.

 Text of Set Group
The Text of the card that was Set on, and the Text of the Set card(s) are treated seperately. Even if the Text of the card that was Set on gets negated, the Text of the Set card(s) will not be affected.

 Changing Targets for Set Cards
Once the Set card has been Set, that card cannot be Set on other cards.
When Set cards have to be moved by effects, the Restrictions and conditions of Setting will take affect, so if the new card to be Set on is not legal, the Set card cannot be moved.

Choosing Cards in a Set Group
For effects such as "Abolish 2 cards," etc. that affect multiple Targets, these effects cannot choose a Set card/'card that was Set on' that belongs to the same Set Group as 2 seperate targets.

 Set of Personal Machine
This refers to the Status where a Character is Set-on a Unit that has that Character's Name included in the Units Name eg. "~ Personal Use" "~ Machine". Refer to Gundam Official Web for the full list of names.
