This is the
Rules page for this site's 'Dueling-Arena' chatroom (IRC channel).
These rules are to be followed at all times, without exception (including Staff members -especially them).
1.) Be polite. No foul language (including cursing/swearing,
rudeness, explicit talk, and talk about harmful activities -including
things that might cause emotional, bodily, political, and other types
of harm. Also, don't try to pick a fight with someone, or stir up
trouble. If a Mod tells you to stop, then stop. Mods are there to
de-flame situations, and make sure everyone stays in line, and
functions as a polite, courteous society.)
2.) No public games, unless otherwise noted. Don't just come to
the channel and start playing in the main discussion area -it might be
interrupting others' discussion, or someone else's game. If you *want*
a public game, first *ask* if anyone is currently in a public game, and
if not, if you can have one. If the mods agree (or the other channel
members, if there are no mods), then you can have a public game. Other
than that, take the game to a private chat window.
3.) Follow the rules. I don't have many here, but I *would* like
them to be followed. I don't except people to stay on-topic 100% of the
time, or be talking about *only* Gundam, Digimon, Medabots, or One
Piece, but *would* like it you keep political, belief/faith-orientated,
and controversial stuff *out* of the channel, unless you can discuss it
maturely and in a non-confrontational way. I don't want people
advertizing their beliefs, politics, or personal view and trying to
find 'converts' (whether they be for a good cause or not -people can
make up their own minds if you present them with enough *accurate*
information -and please try to be concise, and stop when/if people tell
you to stop). And if I find anyone trying to sell viagra in there,
immediate, permenant ban. Advertizing your place of business where
people can buy Digimon, Gundam, etc. products is okay, as long as
you're not over-bearing with it. :]
Please remember, this site is supposed to be child-safe (to a
certain degree), so please act, and talk, accordingly. We may get
5-year-olds in the channel; we may get 50-year-olds. Please behave
appropriately for both.
4.) No Bots. I *may* have a bot in the channel 'soon' (like in
about 2 months), but only I (and Garbageman) are allowed to have bots
in the channel -they're for distro, nothing else. (Okay, well maybe to
keep a chat log too... but nothing *else* besides that.)
