Card Explanations Needed:
Where the Special Effect refers to 'Gallantmon' it means this card
(that the Special Effect is printed on). This SE can only be used when
this card is in the Attack Row (according to the general guideline),
and only during your Attack Phase. This SE has to be used at the
beginning of your Attack Phase before any of your Digimon attack (which
means it won't
get to attack at all since it would be Offline after the Special
Effect). You have the option of Offlining Gallantmon (Crimson Mode) to
Offline 2 of your opponent's Digimon in either of their Rows. I assume
you can Offline 1 from the Attack Row and 1 from the Digivolve Row if
you so desire.
My Card Comments: Besides Gallantmon (CM) being very rare, Grani is a 'Giga Power' card which means you can only have 1 per deck. Thus, you can only Digivolve Gallantmon to (Crimson Mode) once per deck out unless there's a card than can allow you to take a Digivolve card from your Offline Pile.... This is a good Special Effect, but use it wisely and sparingly since it's not exactly easy to get Gallantmon (CM) in yout Attack Row to begin with. Then again, Gallantmon has the exact same Special Effect, except it has a weaker Attack and Defense... Hints, Tips, & Strategies: none Additional Name/Attack Info: Royal Saber is actualy Dukemon's attack. Dukemon (Crimson Mode)'s attacks, according to the Japanese cards, are Quo Vadis and Final Elysian. Gallantmon (Crimson Mode)'s attacks are Invincible Sword and Final Justice. Chris McFeely Says: (Adventure & 02) (Tamers) GALLANTMON Group: Exalted Knight – Level Mega – Type: Virus – Attack Techniques: Invincible Sword, Final Justice (Crimson Mode) Struck by a blast from the D-Reaper – which assumed the form of Jeri’s head - Gallantmon was sent hurtling down from the sky... only to be given a gift by the fully sentient Grani – his wings. Grani merged with Gallantmon, and they were both transformed into the awesome Gallantmon Crimson Mode, who obliterated the Jeri visage with his Final Justice attack, then rocketed upwards with ease towards the Kernel Sphere, only to be confronted by a multitude of Horn Strikers, which he summarily dispatched. A mutated version of the Jeri Type Agent then appeared and clashed with Gallantmon, claiming that Digimon had no right to exist. Enraged, Gallantmon plunged his fist into the Agent, destroying it outright. However, as Gallantmon headed for Jeri, and the D-Reaper was sucked through the vortex created by MegaGargomon, the effects of the Red Card began to wear off, and he reverted back into Takato and Guilmon again. They were still able to save Jeri, and everyone was then airlifted out by one of MarineAngemon’s bubbles. Note that Bandai of America’s “Group” for this Digimon is “Warrior,” but Henry’s D-Power analysis states it to be “Exalted Knight,” so that’s what I’m using here. Name: “Gallant” means brave and chivalrous. “Crimson Mode” comes from the fact that he turns crimson, a shade of red, naturally.
