Auto effects happen and take effect regardless of the player's will. There are 4 types of Auto effects as listed below.

 Auto A
This type of effect will continue as long as the card exists on the Field. This effect will take effect immediately when the card comes into play; and lose effect immediately when the card leaves the Field. As this type of effect do not go through the process of "activating/resolving an effect" it cannot be Cut into.
In the game, if something related to the effect occurs, the effect will take place again immediately.
If there are multiple Auto A effects that happen at the same timing, the effect that was applied first will be processed first.

 Auto B
An effect that happens when cards comes out onto the Field; and/or will take effect even if in other non-Field locations. As this type of effect does not go through the process of "activating/resolving an effect" it can't be Cut into. There are effects that affect Deck building too.

 Auto C
Effects that happen at a specific timing. As this type of effect goes through the process of "activating/resolving an effect" it can be Cut into. However, if it happens in a timing that cannot be Cut into, you cannot Cut-in to the effect. If the condition of this effect happens in the middle of a Cut, a new Cut will take place right after that Cut ends.

 Auto D
Effects that happen at a specific timing. As this type of effect does not go through the process of "activating/resolving an effect" it cannot be Cut into.

 Differences between A, C and D
Auto A effects will always keep on updating with the conditions on the Field; however for Auto C and D, if the effect takes place, in the specified span of time, even if the source of the effect leaves the Field the effect will still continue to take place. For Auto A, if the source card leaves the Field or if the condition is not fulfilled the effect will stop immediately. In the case where Auto A effects take place and the activation and resolution of Auto D effects happen at the same timing, Auto A effects will be applied first.

Activation timing for Auto B and D effects
For Auto B effects that requires special timing such as "when this card is played out onto the fFeld", the activation timing will take place simultaneously with that card's "coming out onto the Field" effect once the conditions have been met.
But for Auto D effects, it will activate and resolve right after the "coming out onto the Field" effect or conditions has been resolved.
Which means, if both Auto B and D has the same activation and resolution timing "when this card is played out onto the Field", Auto B effect will take place before Auto D effect takes place.
In addition, as Auto B effects take place at the same time as the effect of "coming out onto the Field", the effect is not considered to be as the effect of a card on Field.

Effects that happen at Special Timings
Effects that happen at special timings such as "if ~(condition) is done" (eg. if this card goes out to Attack) will only take place once per turn. However, if "everytime ~(something is done)" is stated on the effect it will activate as long as the timing or condition is met.

 Effects that Specify the Timings
For effects that specify the timings such as "in Return Step" etc., they will take place right after the specified timing happens.

Application in the Middle of a Cut
If any non-Auto C effects can be applied in the middle of a Cut, it will not be included in the Cut and will be applied straight away. The cut will be stopped temporarily, and will resume after the Auto effects have been applied. And if in the middle of a Cut Auto effect 1 is being applied, and Auto effect 2 is activated, Auto effect 1 will have its effect applied first and straight after that Auto effect 2 will have its effect applied. And after that the Cut will resume resolution. However, effects such as Auto A effects, "effects that activate in special timing" Auto B effects, and "changing of effects", will have the effects applied immediately even in the middle of resolving other effects.

Auto Effects that can be Activated by Player
There are some exceptions of Auto effects and they can be activated by the player. These effects can be activated in the middle of a Cut, and if done so, will not be included in the Cut; instead it will have the effect applied and take effect immediately.

Effects that will definitely happen in the beginning of a Cut
The effects below will definitely be included in the beginning of a Cut:
- Auto C
- "Abolish" effect that occurs as a result of "Destruction."
If multiple effects of the above happen simultaneously, all these effects will be put in the same Cut, with the Attacking player deciding the order of the effects in the Cut. They will not start a new cut each.
